Public Service Announcement If you receive a check with a request to cash it and to wire the majority to an account while keeping a portion for your services, it is a scam. Do NOT cash the check as it is fake and you will unwittingly take part in a felony. Money wiring services do NOT contract secret shoppers and many have fallen victim to this scam only to find themselves out hundreds, or even thousands, of dollars. Please report any unsolicited checks that you receive asking you to wire money to your local authorities.
